The fact is it simply costs money to run a soccer club. Fields, coaches, employment taxes, uniforms, ref fees, organizational fees, etc. can all add up quickly and become large price tag for players and parents. In the past 5 years, soccer in Utah has grown into a business. That is unfortunate. Blast is not in the soccer business, we are in the kid business. We ask for the fees that allow the coaches to train players to play competition soccer and the organization to run as smooth as possible. The objective is for the players and coach to have a good learning experience at an affordable price. We would never disallow any player the opportunity to play because of finances.
The fees for the season will be provided after we clarify which tournaments, winter, training, and futsal sessions each team will participate in this year. These can be paid all at once or in smaller chunks.
