James Madsen

James is a Millcreek/Holladay native who has been coaching since 2009. Growing up he played for Impact and helped his team win 3 Utah State Cup Championships and multiple regular season titles. James attended Skyline HS where he played for Coach Shawn Kennedy. After graduating, James would return to Skyline to help coach the JV team for several seasons. James got his coaching start in 2009 with JOGA FC which he helped found along with his dad, Chris, and others. James spent 4 years in San Diego before returning in 2019. Since returning, he has been a part of the Blast 2009 boys coaching staff. Aside from coaching and playing soccer, James is a graphic/web designer, an urban farmer at Blind Goose Urban farm and enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Marisa, and their Great Pyrenees, Maven.
