John May played high school soccer for Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California. After moving to Utah he has continued to play on indoor teams. He started coaching soccer in 2009 and joined the Blast family in 2018

John’s more recent coaching experience has been with Blast, Skyline High, and Blue Knights. At Skyline he has been co-coaching the varsity team at Skyline High School since 2015, where he saw the team win a state title in 2015 and a finalist trophy in 2021. John has been coaching and traveling the older level premiere teams for both Blast & Blue Knights that past 5 years. He loves working with the boys and watching them play high level, quality soccer.
